Football Academy
Academy Goals
Team First Football Academy offers you the chance to enhance your individual skills in a team atmosphere. At the Team First Academy, you’ll learn the fundamentals that will make you a championship player on a championship team. Plus, you’ll learn the importance of leadership, sportsmanship and academics.
Campers will receive intensive instruction and will learn the skills and fundamentals necessary for a solid football foundation on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. This camp encourages each camper to achieve a new level of self confidence while focusing on solid foundations of football knowledge and skills Players will receive hands-on instruction from Coach Andre Collins’ and his staff which includes top coaches from the region. Our purpose is to make every camper that attends a more knowledgeable and confident football player when he leaves. This is a non-contact camp.
Character Enrichment Program
This classroom phase of our camp is designed to acclimate student-athletes with a way to approach school and their social life in a manner that is conducive to success.

Fundamentals
- Quarterbacks - stance, snap, drop back, leadership, passing, release, rolling out, follow through, ball handling, running, faking, agility and footwork
- Running Backs - stance, ball handling, faking, ball carrying, running, cutting, blocking, receiving, agility and footwork
- Linemen - stance, release, run, blocking, pass blocking, agility and footwork
- Tight Ends/Receivers - stance, patterns, pass catching, running, blocking, agility and footwork
- Linebackers - stance, pursuit, pass coverage, tackling, agility and footwork
- Defensive Backs - stance, alignment, pass coverage, interceptions, tackling, agility and footwork.
